We run annual collection campaigns to support causes across York.

• Work Wardrobe: professional clothing is collected and donated to students to remove barriers to employment for all. Collections run throughout the year.
• Seasonal Collections: in response to both need in the city and feedback from our members, in 2024 we have decided to trial collections throughout the year. For more information about the current collection contact info@yorkcares.co.uk.
• Christmas Collections: items are collected and delivered to charities in York to support their work, charities include KYRA, Refugee Action York, SASH, Spirit of Christmas and The Island. Collections run throughout November and December.

Join us to network, share best practice and celebrate volunteering with other Ambassadors and stakeholders.

• Annual Stakeholder Meeting, meet with leaders from the private, public and charity sectors to discuss key social issues. Takes place in March/April each year.
• Golden Moments Awards, celebrate volunteers’ achievements at our annual employee-volunteering awards. Takes place in July each year.
