Help with Grant Applications, Fulford Parish Council
The Social Hall in Fulford is a valuable community asset owned by Fulford Parish Council and used by many local groups for a variety of activities. It is in need of modernisation and repair to turn it into a sustainable building for the future, and the Parish Council is seeking help with the preparation and writing of grant applications and other fundraising. We are eligible to apply for funding from the Government Community Ownership Fund, for which a detailed application needs to be written.
Could you help?
It would involve working with Parish Councillors to obtain and present evidence of the importance of the Social Hall to the community and thus the need for the grant. It also involves formulating a Business Plan, answering detailed questions, and providing ideas for raising match funding. The next funding round opens in late May 2024 and though closing date has not yet been announced we want to complete the application within the next few months. The application process is quite lengthy but whatever time you may have to commit to this would be appreciated.
For more information and to get involved, contact Cllr Juliet Koprowska on cllrkoprowska@fulford-pc.
