Our Goal

In 2025, York Cares turns 20! For two decades, we’ve been bringing together businesses, employee-volunteers, and community partners to make York a better place. To mark this milestone, we’ve set ourselves an ambitious £20,000 fundraising target helping to power another 20 years of impact across the city.

How We’re Raising £20,000

We have a year of fundraising activities planned, with something for everyone! Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Strava Challenge (Jan – Feb): Get active, track your 20-minute run or walk, and donate £2!
  • Annual Stakeholder Meeting (April): An evening of celebration of the last 20 years and looking forward at the next 20.
  • Golden Moments Awards Raffle (July): Enter our raffle for a chance to win amazing prizes while supporting our 20th anniversary fundraising!
  • Inter-Company Sports Competition (August): Team up with colleagues for a fun-filled challenge!
  • Bake Sales & Raffles (Throughout the Year): Sweet treats and exciting prizes to be won.
  • Yorkshire Marathon Relay (October): Run for York Cares and raise funds while keeping fit!
